Early morning walk; about 1º only
We had to be out of the hotel by 11.00 am and so I took Jochen for a final walk very early in the morning. It was only 1º , there was frost on the timber bridges we crossed and the sun had not yet had a chance to warm up the valley.
I chose a walk to the waterfalls as in terms of time it was doable. I have no idea why the photo has turned out this blue colour and the program seemingly is not able to change it. However, it was all this in shade so that may the reason for this bluish colour. Man, it was cold.
We naturally hit some steep bits and by now Jochen is so used to my two short legs taking time that he just automatically waits for me to get my act (legs actually) in gear. He does have a resigned look on his face though.

Final Arosa walk
Another 'blue' photo on this final walk.
I would have loved to stay longer as the trekking possibilities are almost endless. However, we are due to go to Luzern to visit Bruno and Yolanda, Bruno having been to Australia to train us in disaster and avalanche search in 2001
