Rissi, another recycling centre
On Saturday morning Jutta took Jochen and me to Rissi, a recycling centre near Luzern where we were able to work with the Central Swiss regional group - Bruno's group.
It was another very rainy day and a recycling centre is not the best place to be when it is wet. However, we are all madly resilient people and dogs really don't care what the weather is like unless it is too hot.
The group organised what turned out to be a three-person search for all those going for the big test in now a few short weeks away and by now, Jochen and I just get on with it. He padded around in the mud near a big machine and made a find very quickly. I then took him to the timber and wood chip pile area where he scaled the piles easily and quickly. After all the negativity that was heaped at him at first, it was so good to see him do what he always does, search with enthusiasm, focus and good results. He found the next two figurant quickly and after trying to get in to them, he alerted really well.
I feel more and more confident about the test. Jochen knows what to do and I am now so much more confident re my own abilities.
Jochen and I went back to Luzern with Bruno and I had another two really pleasant days with him and his wife Yolanda.
