Whilst public transport is always time consuming, the beauty of public transport in some countries like Switzerland is that it actually exists and is also logically co-ordinated. This means that it is always possible to get to almost anywhere. So by the regional train and one small bus and we were dropped almost at the door of the training site.
HAVING FUN
I have very little opportunity to actually train Jochen in a way that he enjoys - motivational obedience, hiding his kong, playing tug-of-war and the like. Here I had the space to do that and he loved it. He hung onto the dummy and pulled and tugged and tried to shake the bejeebies out of it. I threw it for him and he had a chance to run and chase. Bliss!!
After a couple of these searches I moved over to the biggest site and just walked over it and wondered what on earth all the fuss had been about last week. It seemed no big deal today.
I then hid his two dummies and he took off with his usual zeal and searched with focus and attention, the way I am used to. It was so good to see him looking happy.
We then had lunch and waited for the bus to take us back 'home.' Another bus, another train..... 'whatever', he says.
