You would think that our departure should be simple. But no. I turned on the computer to check for any last minute emails and of course there was one - from Petflyers to inform me that Aqis needed me to fill in a form to provide details on something they already have in several documents. So I sent the document to Elias who printed the form which I duly completed and signed; Elias scanned it, sent it to me and I sent it to Petflyers.
We headed off, skirted past Lichtenstein and on into Austria. The Alps just kept coming, more beautiful than ever. I thought of Peter and how he would love this part of his home country.
As soon as we were settled in I took Jochen for a longish walk and then went down to dinner. What I need to mention is that whilst having lunch with Vreni and Elias today, I suddenly discovered that I have a VERY painful back tooth. I ate something hot and this tooth screamed at me. What the…?
So at dinner that evening eating soup, the tooth screamed at me again. It had been rumbling away ever since lunch but this was getting serious and not a good sign. Every time I turned over in bed I discovered that my tooth was rumbling even more. It has the same feel that I experienced years ago when I needed root canal treatment! NO!!!!
We also discovered that we cannot get connection to the internet and I noticed that the form I had sent to Petflyers had not gone!!!!! The quarantine reservation is temporary only and Aqis needs this document to issue the permit number which I thought was already in place. Aaarrgghh!
